First I must apologise for not keeping the blog up to date!!

We have spent most of 2014 juggling committments in Sussex, Birmingham and elsewhere, trying to spend as much time as possible working on the boat refurbishement.

Our target is now to have the boat ready by the Open Weekend here at Hawne basin in May.

Weather stopped work on the painting of the outside, but the hull is done and about half of the cabin sides have been prepared up to undercoat. Since November work has been concerntrated on the inside, with the electrics and lighting well on the way to completion and all the flooring and lining completed.

We took time out to run a practice course back in Eastbourne, for 2 willing guinea pigs! We felt it went well and was good preparation for running courses on the boat in limited space. It also gave us information about the layout needed in the work areas.
